Geita has an operating CIL concentrator with a capacity of 5.2 Mtpa, capable of processing solid ore. In addition, the enterprise has an operating tailing dump. The mine has a full workshop to service heavy mining equipment and all light auxiliary equipment. Additional supporting infrastructure includes a mine camp, a medical clinic, a mine warehouse, administrative buildings, and an airstrip. The underground mining method used at Geita is a combination of a longitudinal open-hole (LOS) and a transverse open-hole (TOS).
