Geita has an operating CIL beneficiation plant with a capacity of 5.2 million tons per year, capable of processing solid ore. In addition, the company has an operating tailings storage facility. For the maintenance of heavy mining equipment and all light auxiliary equipment of the mine, there is a full-fledged workshop. Additional supporting infrastructure includes a mine settlement, a medical clinic, a mine warehouse, administrative buildings and an airstrip.

The underground mining method used by Geita is a combination of longitudinal open pit (LOS) and transverse open pit (TOS).
